Changes of Monitoring Network

We would like to inform you of the following changes to our monitoring network.

Changed Monitoring Station(s):

These changes will take effect from Sep 30, 2015. Please ensure all of our IP addresses have free access to the monitored websites and servers in order to prevent false reports.

Major System Upgrade

To bring you better service, we will be performing a major system upgrade on June 6th 2015.

The purpose of the upgrade is to phase out ageing hardware & OS, and to increase our system capacity. Service interruption cannot be avoided, but will be minimized as much as possible.

  • DATE & TIME: Jun 06 2015 1:00 AM (GMT)
  • DURATION: 2 hours expected (maximum 8 hours if things did not go as planned)
  • IMPACT: Our website and control panel will be unavailable. Monitoring system will be shut down. There will be a period of no monitoring performed. Outages may not be detected or reported, but no false alarm is expected.

Monitoring Location Group

We are pleased to announce an enhancement to the monitoring profile feature. From now on, you can now monitor from:

  • a geographic region (North America, Europe, Asia/Pacific), or
  • a group of locations of your choice (eg. countries where your users are from)

You can access this feature in your control panel under Monitoring > Monitoring Profile.
